After one extra week of holiday, I am back in IPG Kampus Temenggong Ibrahim. Two years I was in UPM and the institute has changed its name twice! Well, I guess with the upgraded status from a Maktab to IPG, the institute also had its facelift. The new academic block has been painted with bright yellow and orange colours which gives the day a sunny and cheerful start. The hostel I am staying in now looks very welcoming. The walls were painted with flowers and butterflies. The TV room is equipped with 3 irons, 3 kettles, 2 sets of sofas and 1 TV. I switched on the TV while waiting for the food delivery today but found myself disappointed with the picture. Maybe the antenna is not placed properly? I am not sure. My eyes could not stand the buzzing when I tried to watch NTV7.
It's a friday night, and I here Fb-ing and writing a blog entry because I don't know what else to do. Of course there are readings to do, but... Hm.. Maybe later.
This would be my final year here. I still remember the first day I reached MPTI with excitement and later reduced to near crying when I stepped to my hostel room. I remember meeting Jia Yiing for the first time, when she walked up to me beaming with happiness. I remember Azhar, I think he sat next to me when I was filling up the forms. I remembered borrowing a pen from Moe I think. My thoughts are jumbled now. Last Sunday, I reached IPGKTI with excitement again, but was not disappointed when I reached the hostel. The colourful hostel block has 2 new washing machines and a water cooler just outside my room.
To cheer myself, I look forward to visiting Spore next week and weeks to come! YAY! That also means more expenditure :S
I think the best thing thing to do is to make the best of what we have, make do with what is given and try enjoy life as much as possible!
