Bali Day 3 Ubud-Kintamani

photo taken at a monument (i can't remember its name)

'banjur'

All along the road you can see this 'banjur' being put up outside houses or buildings. It is in time with the Galungan and Kuningan Festival.

The Galungan festival, Bali's major feast, is held throughout the island and is an annual event in the wuku year. During this ten day period all the gods, including the supreme deity Sanghyang Widi, come down to earth for the festivities. Barongs prance from temple to temple and village to village. The last and most important day of the ten day festival is called Kuningan. (www.bali-paradise.com)

In the morning, we went to visit Batik factory, Gold and silver factory and the art gallery. Very impressive.

at the Batik Factory. Their products are sold in US dollars. Freaking expensive after conversion.

Arowana made from silver. (Ed, don't need to rear, everyday can see on the wall.
haha. just kidding)

Lunch at Bebek Tepi Sawah

The duck looks very skinny ya?

Mount Batur, an active valcano on Bali. Due to cloudy weather, we could not see the volcano clearly. The weather there was cold!

Tried spa for the very first time! felt really refreshed after the 2 hours massage and flower bath.

Babi Guling for dinner. Budi the tour guide recommended this instead of Ibu Oka Babi Guling which most tourist go for in Bali.

After the tour ended, we walked towards Kuta Beach and Hard Rock Hotel and Hard Rock Cafe was nearby. I want that shirt! but it cost RM90. So I ended up talking photo with the t shirt only. haha!
