Who would have thought that a girl who avoided Christian Fellowship during her school days would end up being a teacher in a Christian Fellowship? Irony?
During my secondary school days, I followed my friends to join Leo Club. All of my friends joined, so wanted to be with my friends. I did not regret, I had lots of fun, and meet different people and attended dinners and visited the children's home. However, it could have been better for me now if I have joined CF and worshiped God with other fellow Christians. (but at that time i feared to join a club alone) It is never too late i think for God, as he gave me another chance to be in a CF.
God is gracious. This week is the second time I attended the CF, and once again, I was touched and was close to tears whenever I sing praises and hear testimonies from students and other Christians.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come;
'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far
and Grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me.
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
When we've been here ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we've first begun.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
Glory to the God, Amen!
